  Did you ever see a yarn and just had to have it?   Today marked a highlight in my time at Woolwinders, from the days when I was a part-time staff member and instructor to the past three and half years as the owner of the shop. Our long time friend DANI WOO stopped in today to introduce us to her beautiful new son, JORDAN! Jordan's arrival into his proud and radiant mother's arms has been a long time coming and for those of us who have shared Dani's journey with her, this picture of her holding her new son means almost as much to us as it does to her. We love you, Dani!

  What a wonderful event: each year Tuesday morning safari knitting groups friends present and past get together to knit for two days and catch up with one another at the Marriott in the Rio! Not only is this a lovely groups of ladies, year in and year out, but I love the fact that even though some of these ladies have moved away and are no longer a day-to-day part of Woolwinders, they are not forgotten and still maintain the friendships formed during their time here. Special shout out to TERESA KACZMAREK for pulling it all together!
