Description:

This is a modular baby blanket, knit entirely in garter stitch, with each shape fitting together into a squishy geometric pattern. It can be knitted in a DK or a Worsted Weight.

Marilyn used Malabrigo Rios and Juniper Farm Cumulus for this sample.

Prerequisites for Class:

Students need to know the knit, purl and slip stitches, and how to cast on. 

Materials Needed for Class: 

5 skeins of yarn of different colors that blend well together in whichever yarn you choose (DK or Worsted Weight) 

Size 7 or 8 circular needles of 40-47 length

Homework:

Choose your yarn. 5 colors that blend well together. Some solids and some variegated work well together. Malabrigo Rios, Juniper Farm Cumulus, and 29 Bridges work well. Have them wound into balls prior to the class.
