Techniques learned:
Crochet spike stitch, joining the front and back together, and crocheting a border

Skill level:
Intermediate - must be comfortable with chain, single crochet and maintaining the same number of stitches per row.

Prerequisites:
Crochet 101, knowledge or basic crochet skills

Materials needed for class:
- Yarn must be purchased from Woolwinders (sample uses four skeins of Cascade 128 Superwash wool).
- A copy of the pattern - Reversible Spike Stitch Pillow cover - free download from Yarnspirations
- Locking/crochet stitch markers

Homework:
The instructor will send students additional information and homework prior to the first class regarding gauge requirements.
