Juniper Moon Farm Fourteen
Nestled in the rolling hills of central Virginia, you’ll find Juniper Moon Farm, a place where fine wool sheep and Angora goats produce some of the finest farm yarns in the United States. Founded by Susan Gibbs in 2007, Juniper Moon Farm was the first to apply the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) model to yarn and spinning fibers. Our CSA and our flock will be retiring at the end of the 2015 season. We think the flock has earned a lifetime of R&R, and they will live out their days grazing on sweet grass and sleeping under the stars. In addition to the yarn from our own flock, Susan is the Creative Director of Juniper Moon Farm Yarns, a line of carefully sourced and thoughtfully crafted yarns that feature fibers grown in Peru, Argentina, Nepal, and Italy. Each yarn is paired with a curated collection of patterns by some of the hottest and up-and-coming designers.
