We have some lovely colors of TERRA, which is just perfect for handwarmers, and we’ll even tell you where to find a great pattern.

WoolWinders in Rockville has rescheduled their sale. Beginning TOMORROW, December 24 and running through THURSDAY, DECEMBER 31 everything in the store is at least 15% off. Each day, a different vendor will be on sale at 25% off. Thursday–FIBER COMPANY. Saturday–MANOS DEL URUGUAY. Sunday–KARABELLA. Monday–ROWAN (including NASHUA and RYC). Tuesday–JOJOLAND. Wednesday–SCHAEFER (KITS ONLY). Thursday–TILLI TOMAS.

The roads leading to and within King Farm are in good shape. However, please be advised that in the wisdom of the City of Rockville, the plow moved mountains of snow along side the street, taking away parking on King Farm Blvd. The good news is there is plenty of parking in the Safeway lot. And the paths leading to/from the store are sanded and salted. Other than avoiding the wearing of dress shoes or high heels, you should be just fine today! Come see us!

Finally. We will be open from 11-6 today; however, no knitting class will be held tonight. We will reschedule the class. Hope to see you at the shop. We don’t know about you, but we made a serious dent in our stash this weekend and are ready for a new project!

Even if our home neighborhood isn’t plowed out. If need be, the fabulous KERRY is going to pick us upon a main road that has been plowed nearby, and from there it should be an easy drive to the shop. So come see us from 11-6. We will also reschedule the sale, and it will actually be more generous to our customers. Rather than have certain vendors on sale for one hour, we will feature one EACH DAY!!! That’s right. And we’ll begin on SATURDAY, DECEMBER 26 with MANOS on sale at 25% off ALL DAY!!!!! We are going to stay closed today. Much as we love yarn, it’s not worth risking the safety of our staff, family, and customers. We will be open tomorrow at 11 AM and we WILL reschedule the sale. Stay tuned.

It’s 7 AM and our neighborhood, with 20 inches of snow received yesterday, still isn’t plowed. So we can’t get to the shop by 8. We are POSTPONING the sale (not cancelling); stay tuned for further details.
