I recently offered to knit socks for the friends of both my sons. While I still await photos from those away at college, I did have an opportunity to grab a quick photo of one the boys still in high school. My son Jack’s friend, CLARK, turns 18 next week and as an 18th birthday present I told him to choose any yarn in the store and I would knit him a pair of socks for his birthday present. Well, he had good taste and chose MADELINETOSH TOSH DK in a fun shade of electric blue. Here he is, in my basement tonight, wearing his brand new pair of handknitted birthday socks! Happy birthday, dude! There is absolutely no better feeling than seeing someone else enjoy your knitting:) Knitting is meant to be shared on so many different levels. Who will you knit for next?
