Leave it to us to start the Saturday KNITALONGS (KAL) with an incredibly complex project. Eight brave souls began the gorgeous PRISM LACY SHAWL. Although the pattern repeat isn’t that tough, most had never worked with laceweight yarn, which resembles thread. But they soldiered on:

And then we brought out the wine, and everyone was MUCH HAPPIER and promised to show up again next week:

We were also lucky enough to have LEW at the shop all day (OK he was waiting for his car to be serviced); he worked on the NONI GREEN GROCERY BAG, which he completed and photographed in its pre-felted state. Stay tuned for the FELTED final picture. It is drying upside down on a box at home!
