We were ecstatic to find three huge boxes of yarn awaiting us this morning when we arrived at the store. First we tore into the box from Cascade Yarns to find 10 colors of a gorgeous new worsted weight spring yarn: Pima Tencel. This luxurious yarn is 50% Peruvian Pima Cotton and 50% Tencel. We think it is just perfect for a spring cardigan, shell, or short-sleeved top. Then the perennial favorite sock yarn - Cascade Fixation, in too many colors to count. We have solids and multicolored Fixation in this yummy DK weight cotton with just a bit of spandex for comfort. We admit this is one of our all-time favorite sock yarns.

We were so excited to open the next box from Schaefer Yarn that we had yarn all over the floor and several of us (customers and staff alike) were grabbing at it before it was even on the shelves. As always, the Schaeffer hand-dyed colorways are spectacular. We are now fully stocked in Schaefer Susan, a DK weight 100% mercerized pima cotton as well as Schaefer Laurel , a worsted weight, also 100% mercerized pima cotton. The Schaefer yarns are always very popular for spring and summer knitting.
