Colinette yarns have been store favorites since the day we opened with about ten skeins of ISIS and three ABFAB kits. We continue to be dazzled by their colorways and fibers, and this year has been no exception. Their two new yarns, CADENZA and JITTERBUG have flown out of here. And it's no wonder--they are both machine washable merino wools (Cadenza is DK and Jitterbug is 4 Ply), perfect for children's things, afghans, socks, and garments that don't need to be dry cleaned (YAY!). We are fully stocked once again with those favorites. We also received the ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS KIT for February, which is a luscious rose/green affair. Finally, just because we felt the need to have some more spring yarns here, we did order GIOTTO, the beautiful rayon/cotton ribbon from Colinette. Want to know a secret about this fabulous yarn? You CAN wash it in the machine. Just put it in a mesh bag, set your machine to cold/gentle, and wash away! We love this yarn and can honestly say that we make at least one garment out of it every spring. Yes, we have picked out our colorway for this year.

To close with a teaser, we are going to receive more from Colinette. She has a lovely new spring yarn, BANYAN DK, which is a machine wash cotton/rayon blend. We ordered quite a few colors of that, having test knit it with several customers. And she has come out with four new books containing patterns for CADENZA, GIOTTO,JITTERBUG, and BANYAN.
