Calling all children ages 9-12 years old interested in learning to knit!
Woolwinders will be holding two camp sessions this summer:
SESSION I: JULY 11-13th 12-3PM $199*
SESSION II: JULY 18-20th 12-3 PM $199*
*Cost of camp session includes instruction, project materials, and snack.
Students should bring their own bag lunch each day.

TO GAUGE OR NOT TO GAUGE.....
Christina models her beautiful cashmerino aran sweater. Hard to believe that she has only been knitting for a year! Doesn't she look great? The sweater fits perfectly!
Alas, Lynne's Manos effort did not turn out as well. She approached her error in typical Lynne fashion, with good humor and taking full responsibility! On the positive side, her stitch work and finishing techniques are fantastic!
The difference between the two? Christina did a gauge swatch, and Lynne did not! If you don't get correct gauge for a sweater, you may join Lynne in making one that ALL your friends can get into at the same time!

maybe lynne should be thinking felted tunic with that one....
Unfortunately, generally, the rows shrink more than the stitches when felting.
