ORGANIC COTTON

The knitting world wept when Mission Falls 1824 Cotton ceased production. Stepping into the void in a big way was our friend Linda at Blue Sky Alpaca. She produced a 4.5 stitches/inch textured cotton in simply beautiful colors! Machine washable/dryable, this Organic Cotton yarn is the perfect substitute for MF 1824. Naturally we got all the colors. And what colors they are! Bright, bold and beautiful. We have committed here at WoolWinders to carrying more natural fibers in response to requests from our discerning customers, and those who wish to knit with cotton will fall in love with this yarn! The put up is DOUBLE the yardage of MF 1824 (150 yards in each lovely hank). We plan on carrying this yarn year round for cozy (and washable) blankets, sweaters and wraps! We also received some patterns from Blue Sky, including the popular Baby Bobby Bear!
So that about concludes our spring/summer purchases! If you haven't been in for a while, come see our beautiful light-weight fibers.

And we were also blessed with a box from Skacel! So needles abound.

And late breaking news: the new Interweave Knits just came in-Summer 2005!
