AND THIS IS WHY WE LOVE CHERYL SCHAEFER
Of Schaefer Yarns, that is. We spoke with her last week regarding dyeing some "male colors." While she tried to convince us of the merits of her existing colors, we reminded her of just how conservative (OK stodgy) our area can be. No teals, purples and the like. Maryland men like greys, browns and beiges. So what does she do? Sends us some FABULOUS Laurel yarn dyed especially in those colors for us!
In keeping with Cheryl's tradition of naming her colors after Memorable Women, we are naming this color after a Memorable Man.So if you are hankering to make the men in your life a gorgeous sweater from 100% PIMA COTTON (yes, we know men have "itchy issues"), come and see the colorway LEW ROSE. A bio is soon to follow.

The guy colors sound gorgeous. Did she take the time to name them?

Oh my god! A color named after Lew? That is just too cool! But, I'd really like to see Lew in peaches, mauve, and pinks!

I am wearing purple today, Julie! Does that count?
