THE ROWAN IS IN (PART TWO)
We were delighted to see Walter the UPS Guy before we opened this morning, staring plaintively through the door. Of COURSE we would welcome him as we noticed the return sticker on one of the huge boxes he wheeled in! Yes, more Rowan has arrived. More Kid Classic, More Yorkshire Tweed DK, More Plaid, More Chunky Print, More Felted Tweed, More Big Wool. More, more, more. And the pattern support this year is simply gorgeous. Come see what you can create with these beautiful yarns and patterns.

Hi Jacqui! I found this *fantastically nerdy* pattern for a scarf with DNA-shaped cabling on the internet, and thought I would share this with your other customers. It can be found at http://noodle.pds.k12.nj.us/june/
Can you recommend a yarn to use for this? The designer says she used a sport weight yarn by Haneke Wool Fashions, and I can't seem to find them on the internet. Any suggestions of a proper weight, soft yarn that I could use?
Best,
Anne-Caroline Norman

Anne Caroline,
The pattern looks really cool! I would recommend Blue Sky Alpaca sport weight yarn; either the 100% alpaca or the alpaca/silk blend. We have it in a number of colors. Just give me a call.
Great to hear from you!
Jacqui
Great blog, really like it.
