Snow and Ice Close Us for Today
Because of the 6+ inches of snow we received last night and reports of icy road conditions due to worsen throughout the day, we will be closed today. Please be careful if you need to go out. Given our level of business over the weekend, we believe that many of our customers prepared for this and will be content to stay home and work up their beautiful projects. We will be finishing a jacket made from Manos ourselves!
We will reopen Wednesday at 10 AM undoubtedly to receive lots of goodies from Scott the UPS Guy! Stay tuned. And take care.

Well, it was looking bad for me, new employee Jessica Armstrong. We went skiing Sunday and it was a great day right up until the moment the earth rose up and smote me. Just like in the sports shows: the agony of defeat! It was all made much worse in the hospital when they placed me in a shoulder immobilizer, basically gluing my arm to my body. Impossible to knit! Today much good news: instead of a dislocated shoulder, it is only a separated shoulder, the immobilizer is gone and the orthopaedic surgeon has nixed skiing but not knitting. So I'll be back at Woolwinders, weather permitting, on Wednesday, half finished socks on the double pointed needles in tow. Great Regia sock yarns in fabulous colors!
